Every Sunday evening I prep our meals and snacks for the week or at least for the first 3 days of the week. As I was packing them away this week I realized something… THESE are the “snack packs” that we should all be grabbing throughout the day. Regardless if those 100 calorie snack packs in the aisles of a grocery store are ONLY 100 calories… they’re also loaded with “stuff”. Stuff that you and your body cannot recognize and therefore can not process properly.
So, I encourage all of you to take an extra 20 minutes in your Sunday afternoon to create your own rainbow of healthy snack packs that will last you through the week. Surprisingly, most of these were around 100 calories too and I can guarantee you that they are MUCH healthier for you!
