I haven’t been waking up at 5:30 to get my workouts in.
That said, I realized it doesn’t matter! Why? Because I was still getting them in and that’s what counts.
I’m often asked, “what’s the best time to workout?” and I used to respond how I felt. Get it done early and get it out of the way because the longer you wait the easier it is to have other things take priority.
But honestly, the best time is time you know you’ll do it!
These past few weeks, it’s been really hard getting up early but even harder to finish my workout feeling good vs. feeling exhausted. I’ve decided to do it at 7:00am instead and boy what a difference it has had on my attitude, my energy and my output throughout the workout. It’s like night and day.
So, if the mornings aren’t working out, don’t give up. Try another time that works for YOU! Schedule it and make it a date with yourself each day.
