I was starting to feel a little sour about all my challengers and coaches who have been warming their Shakeology by creating these delicious looking mug cakes.

Have you heard about these delightful things before? 

My problem: I haven’t owned a microwave in over 6 years and apparently these take only 90 seconds to make with a microwave!

I decided to do what I like to teach our children.. be SOLUTION oriented vs. PROBLEM focused. I baked my “mug” cake this morning and ate it for breakfast!!!

This is a high protein breakfast.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 scoop Chocolate or Vegan Chocolate Shakeology
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 3 Tbsp Milk or Almond Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tbsp Natural Peanut Butter Optional

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Mix all ingredients, excluding the PB, in a small mug or glass bowl. I used our medium pyrex glass container since we only have a conventional oven.
  2. OPTIONAL: Add a Tbsp of natural PB in the center, pushing it down to the bottom of the cake batter.
  3. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes or microwave for 90 seconds.
  4. Enjoy every single bite!
