REMIND YOURSELF

I’ll be honest and say that it’s been difficult to see some of the changes taking place in my body.

You guys know me. I truly LOVE  to workout but my workouts have obviously taken on a very different meaning to me now. I’m not getting firmer or smaller.

There is LIFE growing in this belly everyday and I’m grateful for that. This will be a mental challenge but a challenge that I fully accept and will take head on!

While my workouts haven’t been as “hardcore” as I’d like and while my goals are different now, one thing remains the same, I want to make sure I’m strong and as healthy as possible for this baby and for my family. I also want to make sure that my body is ready for birth again and that I recover as smoothly as possible. I’m not getting any younger you know!

So I will remain committed, stay consistent, and continue to move this growing body everyday because I know that there are more benefits than just building muscle, getting toned, and chiseling out my abs.

If you’re in the same boat, try to remind yourself to do it for your HEALTH and long term wellness. And remember, if you did it before, you can do it again!
