Alright… so this week was a transition week. In this post, I will provide you with my assessment on the P90X3 Workout and give you a review of Week 4. It’s a little easier going then what we had the past 3 weeks but still enjoyable (as much as working out is enjoyable, right?!). Personally, I continue to see my scale # rising. Now, I know you are probably thinking “You are always the one telling us not to pay any attention to that number!” Believe me, if it wasn’t for the fact that I am a participant in our test group too, I wouldn’t be saying anything because I wouldn’t have noticed anything changing other than my strength! That said, I’m putting this in the journal and posting about it because I said I would and I’m just as accountable as my members.
I am up 4 lbs.
Again, you’re probably thinking, “Big Deal!” but for me, someone who hasn’t fluctated weight in over a year, this has me scratching my head. I haven’t changed anything other than my workout routine and I know muscle weighs more than fat so I’m left to believe that is part of the equation. My nutrition is spot on. I’m still running 20+ miles a week. So, at this point, I’m taking my own advice, trusting the process, and letting go of that number.
Let’s celebrate the non-scale victories:
I’m feeling great!
I have a ton of energy!
My muscles feel toned.
I’m enjoying the workouts.
I’m getting closer to my full extension pull up!
We are making progress and I’m really enjoying our Test Group, the workouts, and my daily Shakeology! We are pressing on to Week 5 and I can’t wait to see what is in store for us!!
